No doubt due to the thousands of people trying to take advantage of the last minute tax credits, pending home sales rose sharply in March and was the best month of growth since last year (October). There seems to be more optimism as foreclosures are also down in most metro areas.

Does a new study shed light on the real issue behind the mortgage crisis?
There are plenty of things to learn from mortgage crisis that we are now, hopefully, coming out of. However, was the crisis the fault of the recession or was it a fire sale created by panic among the banking community? How the olympics could impact real estate..
Here is an interesting article about how the Winter Olympics could affect the real estate market in Vancouver. It's hard to make a case that it wouldn't with the entire globe focusing on Canada. This article takes a look at the unique history of the city and how it has always been a city known for the way it "gathers people". The article was posted in The Calgary Herald, who is no stranger to the Olympics, Calgary hosted the 1988 Winter Olympics themselves.
